Deployment strategy

It has been reported that the arrival of the Borei-class submarines will enable the Russian Navy to resume strategic patrols in southern latitudes that have not seen a Russian missile submarine in 20 years.

The sub to be delivered in December is the third sub in the Borei project, according to the article.

Must be amazing on a sub (or is that in a sub?), lurking about undetected in the deep.

Wonder if it has a periscope?
