I was hoping someone was counting, because it seemed a lot of ppl getting blown up.
I'm not up for counting the dead on a daily basis, but I think it's important keeping an eye overall.
For me, among the most appalling was Lebanese Christians being blown up by multiple suicide bombers in their own village.
All of this is bad, but the French policeman and his partner being murdered in Paris by a knife wielding religious/political zealot is pretty horrific. I can't begin to imaging how terrified his partner would have been (I'm assuming it's his wife that was also killed). Yes. Child spared.
So much for the surveillance state:
Abballa had already been under surveillance for his connection to another man who left for Syria. He was convicted in 2013 of “criminal association with the aim of preparing terrorist acts”. He was sentenced to a three-year term in prison, of which six months were suspended.
The ISIS-linked media outlet, Amaq news agency took responsibility for the attack, claiming “an ISIS “fighter” had carried out the attack.”

Perhaps France needs to look at deportations, upon completion of prison sentences. That makes more sense than letting terrorists loose in the country.
And if there's a problem with deportation, alter the laws.
Exposing the ordinary French to terrorism that the French state courts by way of military and other interventions abroad on behalf of the wealthy elites (and effectively facilitates on French soil by way of immigration), is negligent.
