The Not-so-Independent's at it again.

Slavs are not divisible.

Just as Ashkenazi Jews and Sephardi Jews are not divisible, and are Jews first and foremost.

Either you are Slavic or you are not Slavic.  Ukrainians are clearly Slavic.

All Slavs are one, whether aware of it or not.

The Scottish appear to basically be Picts/Gaels and the English are basically Anglo-Saxons.  

What they have assimilated into their respective groups does not change that fact.

Describing fellow Slavs as 'Scotland to Russia's England' is fanciful and misleading.

Watched tanks being blown up and dead people lying around covered in dust.


The individual deaths seem pointless.

Twelve Ukrainian servicemen lay down arms, cross into Russia Twelve Ukrainian army servicemen have laid down their arms and crossed into Russia’s southern Rostov region, a spokesman for the regional border department said on Sunday. Russia hands over 4 wounded Ukrainian servicemen to Ukraine “The servicemen laid down their arms and crossed into Russia through the Gukovo border checkpoint. The motives for this act are currently being established,” the spokesman said. The Ukrainian servicemen crossed into Russia on Saturday, the spokesman said, adding that they had served in Ukraine’s 72nd mechanized brigade. The instances when Ukrainian troops crossed into Russia were also registered before. In late July, more than 40 Ukrainian servicemen left their military units and asked the militias in east Ukraine’s Donetsk and Luhansk regions to help them cross into Russia because they did not want to fight against their own people. Israel - Syria - Missiles catch-up

Israel hits Russian missiles in Syria The Australian November 02, 2013 12:00AM John Lyons ISRAEL is reported to have launched another airstrike on a supply of weapons in Syria. In what would be Israel's fifth such reported intervention this year, a supply of Russian-made surface-to-air missiles at a military base near Latakia, a stronghold of the Assad regime, was hit late this week. CNN quoted a US administration source as saying Israel had launched the attack. The report came as the international agency charged with overseeing the destruction of Syria's chemical weapons announced it had disabled all sites known to manufacture such weapons. ... Israel's concern about these missiles is that they could be used to shoot down civilian aircraft flying into and out of Israel. Mr Putin gave no commitment to stop such exports. After that visit, Syria's President Bashar al-Assad claimed that Russia was honouring all its weapons contracts with Syria. Why does Syria allow itself to be bombed?

How come Israel can just lob missiles wherever?


I'm taking a guess that the $225 million approved by Congress with much urgency wasn't really about pulverised Gaza.

Al-Nusra Front is at the Lebanese border.  There's been fighting there.  

There's fighting all over the place.

Could there be something big happening in the region?

Another evacuation from Libya.  About 300 British nationals there ATM.

Why anyone would have hung around is beyond me.

Looks like there's still fighting to gain control of the airport.

There's 'fierce fighting between rival militias'.

Guess that would be non-government parties slugging it out between one another.

Almost slipped up and inserted some Syrian news from another source because I STILL cannot keep everyone straight.

Some biased reporting going on here, in the guise of a bit of Sunday war infotainment with pics.

The East Ukrainian independence supporters are portrayed as summary executioners.

Fighting's taken more than 1,500 lives, they report.  

Yeah, but Not-so-Independent does not mention that the Ukraine government is firing at East Ukraine, including the civilians, or what they're firing -- including ballistic missiles.  

No mention of targeted destruction by Ukraine government.

No mention of sly lifting of Ukraine arms ban.

Nor does it mention that US puppet Poroshenko refused to extend a ceasefire, with US blessings.

Not-so-Independent is also pathetic captioning this photo:

'destroyed by fightings between ...". 

As if the East Ukraine independence supporters are aiming at their own people.

The same applies to the photo of the senior citizen looking out the window of her 'damaged house'.  Again, it's left unsaid that Poroshenko can take credit for that.

That would be the work of Poroshenko and his US puppet government's actions.

Ultimately, the US can take a bow for the destruction in East Ukraine.
