Fri, Jun 17, 2016

Embarrassing video recently surfaced of US Ambassador Michael McFaul, during his stint as moron-in-chief at the US propaganda, espionage and subversion bureau in Moscow (otherwise known as the US embassy).

Granted, it's not hard to find embarrassing video of US diplomats - just grab any old State Department briefing recording to uncover a treasure trove of dignified idiocy.

Moscow confirms US expelled 2 Russian diplomats, initially asked to keep it secret

Published time: 9 Jul, 2016 15:31

Russia's Foreign Ministry has confirmed reports about US authorities expelling two Russian diplomats from Washington DC following an incident outside the US Embassy in Moscow on June 6, 2016, when a US diplomat was allegedly ‘beaten’ by Russian security staff.

“I can confirm that […] the US government did demand the departure of two employees of the Russian Embassy in Washington DC without presenting any complaints to the employees themselves. Furthermore, the State Department strongly asked us not to make this fact public. As you can see, it is customary for American diplomats to keep their word,” Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov told the press, alluding to the publication on the incident in Washington Post.

The article claimed that a Russian guard “attacked and beat up a US diplomat who was trying to enter” the US Embassy in Moscow, citing “US officials who were briefed on the incident.”

“The American diplomat - or, more accurately, a CIA officer who worked under the embassy’s cover and was returning to the compound disguised after conducting an intelligence operation - attacked a police officer, who was carrying out his duty protecting the diplomatic mission,” Ryabkov explained.

“The video footage of the incident was shown on July 7 on NTV channel and speaks for itself – in the middle of the night a man wearing a knitted hat pulled low over his head, despite the fact it’s summer, jumps out of a taxi and rushes to the entrance of the embassy, without making any attempt to show his identity. When the guard rushes to intercept him in order to prevent a possible threat to the diplomatic mission, he hits the officer in the face with his elbow, which is, in fact, a criminal offense,” the official noted.

Ryabkov said the US agent who was involved in the incident had to be deported from Russia along with another CIA operative in response to similar actions targeting Russian diplomats.

“After their [the US authorities’] unfriendly step two employees of the US Embassy had to leave Moscow. They were declared ‘undesirable’ for activities incompatible with their diplomatic status. The very night hoodlum is one of them, along with another CIA operative,” Ryabkov said.

US authorities have denied that it was the US diplomat who provoked the incident on June 6.

“On the 6th of June, an accredited US diplomat, who identified himself in accordance with embassy protocols, entering the American embassy compound was attacked by a Russian policeman.

The action was unprovoked and it endangered the safety of our employee [...] The Russian claim the policeman was protecting the embassy from an unidentified individual is simply untrue,” US State Department spokesman John Kirby said at a daily press briefing on Friday, apparently contradicting the CCTV evidence.

“As difficult as it is to deny the obvious, the State Department continues to do so,” Ryabkov said.

“[Authorities] in Washington resort to specific actions, further exacerbating the atmosphere of bilateral relations, which the Obama administration has methodically been crushing for more than two years now, including attempts to undermine our economy and military threats. […]

“We do hope that Washington will come to realize the depravity of an aggressive anti-Russian line of action. If it decides, however, to move further along the path of escalation, [such policy] will not remain unanswered,” Ryabkov warned.

CIA agent attacked US Embassy guard in Moscow – Russian Foreign Ministry

Published time: 30 Jun, 2016 19:47

The US uses its media to spread outright lies about Russia, the Russian Foreign Ministry said, dismissing a report by the Washington Post about a ‘US diplomat’ 'beaten' by Russian security. In fact, it was a US spy who attacked a Russian police officer.

“US State Department and security services have been actively using the Washington Post for disseminating distorted information and outright lies about “harassment” of the US diplomats in Russia,” Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said, commenting on a report by the US newspaper on the alleged beating of a US diplomat by Russian security staff.

The story in the report was completely made up, Zakharova said, dismissing the report published on June 29, in which the Washington Post claimed that a “Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) guard stationed outside the US Embassy in Moscow attacked and beat up a US diplomat who was trying to enter the compound.”

The ministry’s spokeswoman explained that, in reality, it was a US citizen who attacked a Russian security guard stationed outside the US embassy when the officer tried to check his ID.

“On the night of June 6, a taxi drove up to the US embassy in Moscow. A man with a hat drawn over his eyes jumped out of the car and rushed to the entrance. A police officer, who was on duty at the entrance, tried to check the ID of the suspicious man to ensure that there is no threat for the embassy,” Zakharova told journalists at a briefing on Thursday.

“Instead of letting the officer see his ID, the man hit him with an elbow in the face than pushed him away and fled
to the embassy,” she added, stressing that the Washington Post report “not only distorts the information but openly contradicts the facts.”

She also emphasized that the attack on the police officer was recorded by the CCTV cameras and presented to the US State Department “long ago,” with Russian Foreign Ministry filing a protest over the incident.

It was later revealed that the man who attacked the officer was in fact a CIA agent, who worked in Russia under diplomatic cover and was returning from a mission on the night of the attack, the spokeswoman stressed, adding that the agent apparently tried to escape recognition.

She also said that information about the ‘diplomat’s’ allegedly broken shoulder reported by the Washington Post report is also false and was disproved by a video presented by the US side to the Russian ministry.

Zakharova also emphasized that it is the US that asked Russia to provide security for its embassy and send police to guard it. “Moreover, they [the US] regularly ask us to enhance [the embassy’s] security,” she added.

The ministry’s spokeswoman also expressed “regret” over “Washington deliberately souring the bilateral relations particularly by provocations and disinformation,” stressing that such policy “will not lead to anything good.”

The Washington Post report came just a day after Russian Foreign Ministry slammed another article by the US newspaper that claimed that “Russia is harassing US diplomats all over Europe.” It’s the Russian diplomats who are being pressured, not the other way around, the Foreign Ministry said, blasting the article.

Washington Post Lies to Justify Intervention in Venezuela

April 14, 2016
EXTRACT
... the U.S. public has grown weary of their government’s imperialist adventures, which as of late have ended in utter disaster. Washington elites know they must first fool the public into believing that intervention is a necessity. To accomplish this they turn to private media outlets and their editorial boards, who help drum up support for U.S. intervention in foreign countries. Enter the latest example: a recent editorial by the Washington Post entitled: “Venezuela is in desperate need of a political intervention.”

Burial

Being here is like being under a slab.  I'm buried alive.

Any sense of well-being or smallest confidence in anything is an illusion that never lasts longer than momentarily, here where I am buried.

How did I get here and why did this death choose me?

Nothing lives here in my burial place. Tomorrow is dead.  Today is dead.  Yesterday is dead.

My burial place is at the site of protracted death.

Too tired and upset to even tune out to this living death.

Too anxious to sleep, even though all I wanted was to lose myself in the next best thing to death:  sleep.

Felt like I was floating away. It's my very own free-floating roller-coaster and elevator, all in one.

On edge, hoping for silence. Silence is golden in this place of death.

I thought about being trapped.  I vaguely thought about killing myself, but it's not very appealing.  I think I just want to escape the feeling of impotence and hopelessness.

We are intractably at odds and have been all along.  But, like death, this living death never improves ... and it never ends.

I speak but I am not heard. To be unheard is to be dead.  To be unable to influence or alter anything is to be dead.  So I am dead.

I am crying without really feeling it. It's just wet on my face.

Black Lives Matter

Even though this Alex Jones guy looks and sounds like he's a crazy man on drugs, I'm curious what he has to say.

Part way through this.

Interesting that the number of deaths caused by police reluctance to police as result of the Black Lives Matter activities has doubled the death rates in the communities that are consequently not being policed.

I'm torn between watching Alex Jones, listening to Bryan Ferry (which I keep flipping back to), wanting to scream because the anxiety levels are on the increase here ... or finally having a hot shower.

Too bad I can't do everything at once.

I'm dying ... or, it feels like I am.  LOL

Managed to somehow reverse my body clock ... again.

Feel dreadful.

Tried listening to audio examining the Reichstag fire (27 Feb 1933), which led to the National Socialists of Germany rising to government.

It was a cold -6 degree night, or something like that.  I can't remember.  The audio is too distracting for me to follow. Strange, because it's only a voice.  But it's scrambled to me.  It's like it's broken into pieces.  I can't focus on it.  I don't think I can listen to this.

The leftist are a problem from way back.

My god, I had to stop the audio.  It was going into the technicalities of the fire progression.  Dead boring.  I like details I can relate to, like the weather and the glass dome.

Woke up starving.  But I'm sick of toast, and not creative enough to think of anything else.  Wouldn't mind eggs, but I'm too wrecked to bother.  There's left-over pizza, but I couldn't eat in the first place.  Disgusting.  They make really, really, really, bad pizza here.  I have to peel the toppings off to eat ... and it's still not appetising.

Grabbed a mouthful of dark chocolate.  Didn't help.  Now I'm starving and sort of feeling sick from eating the chocolate.

I'm about to be rescued with my very own Chicken Korma and steamed rice ... mmmmm, I can smell the rice.
Messing with pictures and sound has made me feel better.  LOL

U.S. Army reservist aimed to 'kill white people' in Dallas police ambush
DALLAS | By Ernest Scheyder and Marice Richter

A black U.S. Army reservist who served in the Afghan war and said he wanted to "kill white people" took part in an attack in which five police officers were shot dead at a protest decrying police shootings of black men, officials said on Friday.

Seven other police officers and two civilians were wounded in the ambush in downtown Dallas on Thursday night, officials said. Police killed the gunman, identified by a U.S. government source as Micah Xavier Johnson, with a bomb-carrying robot after cornering him in a parking lot, ending an hours-long standoff.

The sound of gunfire from a high-powered rifle sent a panicked crowd of hundreds of protesters screaming and running for their lives near the end of a march to protest police killings of black men this week in Minnesota and Louisiana. Police officers at the time believed they were under attack by several gunmen in multiple locations.

The Louisiana and Minnesota shootings, both now the subject of federal investigations, were the latest in a series of police killings that have triggered protests over police use of force against black suspects and racial disparities in the American criminal justice system.

Black Lives Matter, a decentralized movement, arose after those killings to protest the treatment of black people by U.S. law enforcement.

"This was a well-planned, well-thought-out, evil tragedy by these suspects. And we won't rest until we bring everyone involved to justice," Dallas Police Chief David Brown said. "We are determined to not let this person steal this democracy from us."

During lengthy negotiations with police, the gunman told reporters he was angry about the Louisiana and Minnesota killings, Brown told reporters.

"The suspect said he was upset about
Black Lives Matter," said Brown, who is black. "The suspect said he was upset at white people. The suspect stated that he wanted to kill white people, especially white officers."

Johnson was a member of the group "Black Panther Party Mississippi" on Facebook, which has over 200 members. Earlier this month he shared a video showing what he described as white people killing what looked like dolphins or whales.

"Look at the joy on their faces. Why do so many whites (not all) enjoy killing and participating in the death of innocent beings," Johnson wrote. Its authenticity could not be immediately confirmed.

'HEARTACHE AND DEVASTATION'

Authorities said that the gunman fired at least some of the shots in the attack but have not ruled out that other shooters were involved. Details on how the shootings unfolded remained unclear. It also was not clear how one person could have shot so many officers, though video of the attack taken by a witness shows a gunman carrying an assault-style weapon and carrying large amounts of ammunition.

The video shows a man with a rifle crouching at ground level and charging at and then shooting another person who appeared to be wearing a uniform. That person then collapsed to the ground.

Reuters could not immediately confirm the authenticity of the video.

It was the deadliest day for police in the United States since the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks.

The U.S. Army said Johnson had served as a private first class in the Army Reserve, made up of part-time soldiers, and was deployed to Afghanistan from November 2013 to July 2014. It said Johnson served from March 2009 to April 2015 and was a carpentry and masonry specialist with the 420th Engineering Brigade based in Texas.

President Barack Obama called the shooting "a vicious, calculated and despicable attack on law enforcement." Obama, who was in Poland for a NATO summit and has been stymied by the Republican-led Congress in his bid for new gun control laws, added, "We also know when people are armed with powerful weapons unfortunately it makes attacks like these more deadly and more tragic."

Three of the slain officers were identified on Friday. One was Brent Thompson, 43, who joined the Dallas Area Rapid Transit police department in 2009, according to police. Another was Patricio Zamarripa, 32, an U.S. Navy veteran, according to his family. Also killed was Michael Krol, 40, according to the Wayne County Sheriff's Office in Michigan, where he used to work.

Reverend Jeff Hood, an organizer of Thursday night's protest in Dallas, said he had been chatting with some of the police officers on the street when gunfire erupted.

"I saw what I believe were two police officers that went down. I didn't know what to do," Hood told reporters on Friday. "If we continue to turn to violence, we are going to continue to see heartache and devastation."

A string of killings of black men and boys by police in cities including Ferguson, Missouri, New York, Baltimore, Chicago, Cleveland, Tulsa, Oklahoma and North Charleston, South Carolina gave rise to the Black Lives Matter movement against excessive police force.

A Twitter account describing itself as representing the Black Lives Matter movement sent the message: "Black Lives Matter advocates dignity, justice and freedom. Not murder."

Police in Dallas said they were questioning two occupants of a Mercedes they had pulled over after seeing a man throwing a camouflage bag inside the back of the vehicle, which then sped off on a downtown street. A woman was also taken into custody near the garage where the standoff took place.

The Dallas shootings happened as otherwise largely peaceful protests unfolded around the United States after the police shooting of Philando Castile, a 32-year-old black man, on Wednesday during a traffic stop near St. Paul, Minnesota.

The day earlier, police in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, shot dead Alton Sterling, 37, while responding to a call alleging he had threatened someone with a gun.

Both killings were captured on video, with Castile's girlfriend broadcasting the bloody aftermath of his shooting live on the internet.

Cleveland police officials have tightened their security plan for the July 18-21 Republican National Convention as a result of the shootings of in Dallas, Deputy Police Chief Ed Tomba said.

George Soros funds Ferguson protests, hopes to spur civil action

Liberal billionaire gave at least $33 million in one year to groups that emboldened activists

By Kelly Riddell - The Washington Times - Wednesday, January 14, 2015

There’s a solitary man at the financial center of the Ferguson protest movement. [...]

[...]   it’s liberal billionaire George Soros, who has built a business empire that dominates across the ocean in Europe while forging a political machine powered by nonprofit foundations that impacts American politics and policy, not unlike what he did with MoveOn.org.

Mr. Soros spurred the Ferguson protest movement through years of funding and mobilizing groups across the U.S., according to interviews with key players and financial records reviewed by The Washington Times.

In all, Mr. Soros gave at least $33 million in one year to support already-established groups that emboldened the grass-roots, on-the-ground activists in Ferguson, according to the most recent tax filings of his nonprofit Open Society Foundations.

The financial tether from Mr. Soros to the activist groups gave rise to a combustible protest movement that transformed a one-day criminal event in Missouri into a 24-hour-a-day national cause celebre.

“Our DNA includes a belief that having people participate in government is indispensable to living in a more just, inclusive, democratic society,” said Kenneth Zimmerman, director of Mr. Soros‘ Open Society FoundationsU.S. programs, in an interview with The Washington Times. “Helping groups combine policy, research [and] data collection with community organizing feels very much the way our society becomes more accountable.”

[ ... ]

Soros-sponsored organizations helped mobilize protests in Ferguson, building grass-roots coalitions on the ground backed by a nationwide online and social media campaign.

Other Soros-funded groups made it their job to remotely monitor and exploit anything related to the incident that they could portray as a conservative misstep, and to develop academic research and editorials to disseminate to the news media to keep the story alive.

The plethora of organizations involved not only shared Mr. Soros‘ funding, but they also fed off each other, using content and buzzwords developed by one organization on another’s website, referencing each other’s news columns and by creating a social media echo chamber of Facebook “likes” and Twitter hashtags that dominated the mainstream media and personal online newsfeeds.

[...]

OBS and MORE, along with the Dream Defenders, established the “Hands Up Coalition” — another so-called “grass-roots” organization in Missouri, whose name was based on now-known-to-be-false claims that Brown had his hands up before being shot. The Defenders were built to rally support and awareness for the Trayvon Martin case and were funded by the Tides Foundation, another recipient of Soros cash.

Hands Up Coalition has made it its mission to recruit and organize youth nationwide to start local events in their communities — trying to take Ferguson nationwide.

[...]

Mr. Soros‘ two largest foundations manage almost $3 billion in assets per year, according to their most recent respective tax returns. The Foundation to Promote Open Society managed $2.2 billion in assets in 2011, and his Open Society Institute managed $685.9 million in 2012.

In comparison, David and Charles Koch, the billionaire brothers whom liberals often call a threat to democracy — and worse — for their conservative influence, had $308 million tied up in their foundation and institute in 2011.

One of the organizations that Mr. Soros funds, and which fueled the demonstrations in Ferguson, is the Gamaliel Foundation, a network of grass-roots, interreligious and interracial organizations. Mr. Obama started his career as a community organizer at a Gamaliel affiliate in Chicago.

5 Statistics You Need To Know About Cops Killing Blacks

By: Aaron Bandler
July 7, 2016

The Alton Sterling and Philando Castile shootings have caused an uproar among leftists because they fuel their narrative that racist white police officers are hunting down innocent black men. But the statistics – brought to light by the superb work of Heather MacDonald – tell a different story.

Here are five key statistics you need to know about cops killing blacks.

1. Cops killed nearly twice as many whites as blacks in 2015. According to data compiled by The Washington Post, 50 percent of the victims of fatal police shootings were white, while 26 percent were black. The majority of these victims had a gun or "were armed or otherwise threatening the officer with potentially lethal force," according to MacDonald in a speech at Hillsdale College.

Some may argue that these statistics are evidence of racist treatment toward blacks, since whites consist of 62 percent of the population and blacks make up 12 percent of the population. But as MacDonald writes in The Wall Street Journal, 2009 statistics from the Bureau of Justice Statistics
reveal that blacks were charged with 62 percent of robberies, 57 percent of murders and 45 percent of assaults in the 75 biggest counties in the country, despite only comprising roughly 15 percent of the population in these counties.

"Such a concentration of criminal violence in minority communities means that officers will be disproportionately confronting armed and often resisting suspects in those communities, raising officers’ own risk of using lethal force," writes MacDonald.

MacDonald also pointed out in her Hillsdale speech that blacks "commit 75 percent of all shootings, 70 percent of all robberies, and 66 percent of all violent crime" in New York City, even though they consist of 23 percent of the city's population.

"The black violent crime rate would actually predict that more than 26 percent of police victims would be black," MacDonald said. "Officer use of force will occur where the police interact most often with violent criminals, armed suspects, and those resisting arrest, and that is in black neighborhoods."

2. More whites and Hispanics die from police homicides than blacks. According to MacDonald, 12 percent of white and Hispanic homicide deaths were due to police officers, while only four percent of black homicide deaths were the result of police officers.

"If we’re going to have a 'Lives Matter' anti-police movement, it would be more appropriately named "White and Hispanic Lives Matter,'" said MacDonald in her Hillsdale speech.

3. The Post's data does show that unarmed black men are more likely to die by the gun of a cop than an unarmed white man...but this does not tell the whole story. In August 2015, the ratio was seven-to-one of unarmed black men dying from police gunshots compared to unarmed white men; the ratio was six-to-one by the end of 2015. But MacDonald points out in The Marshall Project that looking at the details of the actual incidents that occurred paints a different picture:

The “unarmed” label is literally accurate, but it frequently fails to convey highly-charged policing situations. In a number of cases, if the victim ended up being unarmed, it was certainly not for lack of trying. At least five black victims had reportedly tried to grab the officer’s gun, or had been beating the cop with his own equipment. Some were shot from an accidental discharge triggered by their own assault on the officer. And two individuals included in the Post’s “unarmed black victims” category were struck by stray bullets aimed at someone else in justified cop shootings. If the victims were not the intended targets, then racism could have played no role in their deaths.

In one of those unintended cases, an undercover cop from the New York Police Department was conducting a gun sting in Mount Vernon, just north of New York City. One of the gun traffickers jumped into the cop’s car, stuck a pistol to his head, grabbed $2,400 and fled. The officer gave chase and opened fire after the thief again pointed his gun at him. Two of the officer’s bullets accidentally hit a 61-year-old bystander, killing him. That older man happened to be black, but his race had nothing to do with his tragic death. In the other collateral damage case, Virginia Beach, Virginia, officers approached a car parked at a convenience store that had a homicide suspect in the passenger seat. The suspect opened fire, sending a bullet through an officer’s shirt. The cops returned fire, killing their assailant as well as a woman in the driver’s seat. That woman entered the Post’s database without qualification as an “unarmed black victim” of police fire.

MacDonald examines a number of other instances, including unarmed black men in San Diego, CA and Prince George's County, MD attempting to reach for a gun in a police officer's holster. In the San Diego case, the unarmed black man actually "jumped the officer" and assaulted him, and the cop shot the man since he was "fearing for his life." MacDonald also notes that there was an instance in 2015 where "three officers were killed with their own guns, which the suspects had wrestled from them."

4. Black and Hispanic police officers are more likely to fire a gun at blacks than white officers. This is according to a Department of Justice report in 2015 about the Philadelphia Police Department, and is further confirmed that by a study conducted University of Pennsylvania criminologist Gary Ridgeway in 2015 that determined black cops were 3.3 times more likely to fire a gun than other cops at a crime scene.

5. Blacks are more likely to kill cops than be killed by cops. This is according to FBI data, which also found that 40 percent of cop killers are black. According to MacDonald, the police officer is 18.5 times more likely to be killed by a black than a cop killing an unarmed black person.

Despite the facts, the anti-police rhetoric of Black Lives Matter and their leftist sympathizers have resulted in what MacDonald calls the "Ferguson Effect," as murders have spiked by 17 percent among the 50 biggest cities in the U.S. as a result of cops being more reluctant to police neighborhoods out of fear of being labeled as racists. Additionally, there have been over twice as many cops victimized by fatal shootings in the first three months of 2016.

Anti-police rhetoric has deadly consequences.

Five Left-Wing Politicians Who Demand Gun Control After Cops Slaughtered by a Left-Winger

by S. Noble • July 8, 2016

"If Hillary Clinton wins, the Second Amendment is gone, period. She plans to give full amnesty to the 30 to 50 million illegals and their chain migration relatives in the first 100 days, and she will appoint leftist judges to the Supreme Court of the United States. She will be unstoppable.

[...]

“The suspect said he was upset with white people and wanted to kill white people, especially white officers,” Brown said.

That is not the topic of discussion from the left, however, gun control is.

The president began the day from Poland calling for gun control. After he gives up his security detail, I’ll jump right on that.

It doesn’t matter how illogical the reasoning is. The Dallas killer was a legal gun owner but that’s irrelevant to AG Lynch. She wants our guns."

Second Amendment:  right to keep & bear arms

America doesn't need less guns, it needs more guns ... especially in the hands of pensioners that are the prime targets of home invasion terrorism, rape and brutal murder.
