I've just been told "
I can't believe you're up again to steal my coffee".
I can't believe it either. I haven't slept. At all.
We just finished friendly bickering over who's going to have the coffee that was good to go. I wasn't suppose to be up, so there was only one cup made (and I'm
desperate).
It's turned out a compromise: I've got some.
I feel really dreadful. It's like my body's in overdrive and I feel so hyped it's like I've been hit by a truck. That probably doesn't make sense. It's like an exhausted super-hyped tension and tiredness feeling. Floaty anxiety when I try to sleep. But it's free-floating anxiety about nothing immediate that I'm aware of.
I'm bound to come good one I get some sleep.
Right now, I'm too hyped to sleep and too wrecked to do anything useful. Or even anything useless. And there's not enough time in the world for all the useless things I'd like to do ... I've got several half finished summaries of things I find interesting.
No wonder I don't get anything done. It takes forever to do my summaries, and my summaries are pretty detailed.
I don't know how I got so weird about summarising things I could just read and (hopefully) remember. It's like I'm afraid if I don't summarise things I won't remember anything at all, which is a strange 'compulsion', or whatever it is, to develop.
Funny thing is, it's not like I remember much, anyway. I'd get through so much more with less messing about with summaries. So my compulsive thing is counter-productive.
US is providing its proxies, ISIS, with bombing raid advantage ahead of ISIS offensives against the Assad government Syrian loyalists ... during a ceasefire (going by the headline).
Syria should be able to use any means of force to
defend itself. I'm talking anything: chemical, nuclear, whatever. If I were Syria, I'd go Israeli on all the proxy attackers.
Syria is fighting for Syria's very existence, and Syria has the right to defend itself.
Nine Americans stabbed in
Maceys by a Somalian offender; FBI investigating if terrorism:
... the attacker, who was armed with a knife, reportedly made references to Allah during the attack and asked at least one person whether they were Muslim. But Anderson pointedly declined to call the attacks an act of terrorism, saying the motive isn't yet known. [sctimes]
Imagine what the US would be like if they had an intake of the risk demographic the size of Europe's.
Speaking of which:
German Chancellor Angela Merkel's conservatives have suffered their second electoral blow in two weeks, with Berlin roundly rejecting her open-door refugee policy.
Voters turned to the anti-immigrant Alternative for Germany (AfD) on Sunday, which with 12.2 per cent of the vote will enter its tenth regional assembly of the country's 16 states.
A year before a federal election, the result is likely to raise pressure on Merkel and deepen divisions within her conservative camp. [here]
LOL ... suck it up, Merkel.
As entertaining as this is, voting for any political party will not make ANY difference whatsoever.
What is called for in all capitalist countries is revolution.
European women are getting raped day in day out by foreigners, and raped brutally in gang rape attacks:
Three men arrested for gang-raping woman near Eiffel Tower
September 19, 20166:39am
FRENCH officials say three men have been charged and jailed after a woman was allegedly lured on Facebook by one of them and then gang-raped near the Eiffel Tower.
A police official said Friday that three Algerian men were arrested earlier this week in a Paris hotel under suspicion of taking part in the rape of the French woman in the Champ-de-Mars garden, close to the famous tower. [here]
This is an undeclared war. We are at war.
Look at this:
New York explosion: Governor says blast was ‘act of terrorism’
September 19, 20166:41am
... dumpster blast that hit New York, wounding 29 people, as the governor declared the attack an act of terrorism.
Law enforcement sources told The New York Post an unidentified man called police, claiming to be standing at 23rd Street and Seventh Avenue in the aftermath of the blast.
“I’m looking at the explosion down the block. There will be more,” he reportedly said.
The news comes as New York Governor Andrew Cuomo called the Chelsea explosion “an act of terrorism”, but said there was “no evidence” of ties to an international group.
The bombing is one of three “terror attacks” on US soil in one day, including a mass stabbing at a Minnesota shopping centre claimed by Islamic State and a pipe bomb explosion in New Jersey ahead of a charity race. [here]
Great. I've already got a sort of phobia about leaving the house. I don't even like going outdoors — at all — anymore. That's (partly) why I've been sneaking cigarettes indoors.
How am I supposed to want to leave the house
ever again?
Not that being at home is much better ... but hopefully my 'palatial' abode won't attract home invaders.
But ... you just
never know your luck in Warlord City.
Different devices used in the US attacks. Might have to go back and read that one properly.
Found this amusing, because I don't think it's a real notice. I bet it's the media and intelligentsia maligned 'right wing' 'neo-nazis' (that aren't really right wing or neo-nazi) that have posted this for laughs:
COPS INVESTIGATE SUSPICIOUS WEBSITE
Investigators are also reportedly “vetting” an online Tumblr page on which someone claiming to be “the NY Bomber” took responsibility for the blast and said the motive was a response to anti-gay “violence and oppression.”
“I don’t know exactly how I feel about taking human lives,” began the post titled ‘Taking a human life.’ “However, what I do know is that if I don’t do what needs to be done nobody will pay attention.”
It also said: “I did it because I cannot stand society. I cannot live in a world where homosexuals like myself as well as the rest of the LGBTQ+ community are looked down upon by society.”
The website has been taken down. [ibid]
Looking at this stuff has relaxed me a little. Hopefully, I might crash soon.
Think I might go out for a cigarette.
