Genocide Watch was the first international human rights organization to protest the murders and hate crimes committed against farmers in South Africa. Since his research trip in July 2012, Dr. Stanton said that hate crimes against Afrikaner farmers have not declined. The murder rate of the whole South African population remains at over 31 per 100,000. The murder rate of farmers, including Afrikaner farmers, is four times as high. The Institute of Security Studies estimated the farm murder rate at 120 per 100,000 in 2013, and the Transvaal Agricultural Union, using verified names of victims, placed the figure at 130 per 100,000 in 2013, one of the highest murder rates in the world.
Since 2007, the South African government has denied and covered up the crisis by not releasing any breakdown of how murders are distributed among ethnic groups in South Africa.American and European governments have remained silent about the problem, reinforcing the campaign of denial.
Several years ago the Marxist racist, Julius Malema, then President of the African National Congress Youth League, revived the singing of the “Shoot the Farmer, Kill the Boer” song, once a revolutionary song, but now an incitement to commit genocide. A South African judge declared that singing of the song is a hate crime and prohibited Malema from singing the “Kill the Boer” song. But then the South African President, Jacob Zuma, sang the song himself, in direct contempt for the judge’s ruling. Malema was later expelled from the ANC over an unrelated conflict with Zuma. He formed his own political party, the EFF, which has continued to promote a Marxist, racist agenda, and Malema was elected to Parliament. Jacob Zuma remains President of South Africa.
Dr. Stanton pointed out that Incitement to Commit Genocide is a crime under both international and South African law. He said that Malema should be put on trial for incitement to commit genocide and Zuma should be impeached, both for violating South African laws against incitement, and for massive corruption.
Dr. Stanton noted that recent studies of the correlation between corruption and atrocities committed by governments show that the relationship is direct. Once in power, corrupt governments cling to power because of the enormous wealth their officials amass. They then persecute, torture, and murder anyone who challenges their grip on power. That downward spiral has begun in South Africa, just as it did in Zimbabwe. In Zimbabwe it resulted in the Gukurahunde genocide against Joshua Nkomo’s Matabele people and Mugabe’s repression of the MDC.
The conviction rate has dropped from 32 percent ten years ago to about 22 percent today. This trend must be reversed. Police must be given education and training so they become competent and motivated crime fighters. An honest, educated, and dedicated police force is the strong arm of justice.
Private security companies should coordinate their systems, use infra-red, aerial and other advanced technology to detect criminals quickly and summon both armed private security companies and police to arrest criminals. Then their cases must be pressed until they are imprisoned.
Criminal gangs from other African countries should be deported.
The South African government must make stopping farm murders a priority. 30,000 commercial farmers supply most of South Africa’s food. South Africa cannot afford to lose their long experience in management. Training people once excluded from management will take several generations, not just a few years.
The first step is for the South African government to admit that farm murders are a serious threat not just to Afrikaner and white farmers, but to all South Africans, and make stopping these crimes a priority.
The second step is to arrest and convict or impeach corrupt political leaders.
The most important step is for South Africans of all ethnic groups to recognize that we are all members of the same race, the human race. [comment: that statement is ridiculous. White South Africans 'fearing for their lives' ask EU for right to 'return'
WHITE South Africans are asking the European Union to give them the "the right to return home" after claims they are facing "ethnic cleansing".

The online call to action demands the European Commission (EC) allows all white South Africans to obtain automatic European citizenship.
The petition has already gained more than 1,000 supporters in just half a day.
Rodrigo de Campos, who started the campaign, is gaining support for his belief that the "white South African population currently faces ethnic cleansing and persecutions" at the hands of the ruling ANC government, the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) party and "various individual anti-white aggressors".
He also says: "Over 4000 white farmers have been brutally murdered, often including torture and rape and mutilation."
An increasing number of supporters believe the solution to this is for white South Africans - and white Zimbabweansand Namibians - to be allowed to "return" to whatever nation the majority of their ancestors are from - which in most cases is the Netherlands or the UK.
The petition compares white South Africans to Jews being allowed citizenship in Israel.
It says: "Based on the Israeli government's policy of allowing all Jews the right to return to Israel, we believe it is not only advisable but morally obligatory that Europe should allow all white South Africans the right to return."
Currently South Africans, of any colour, applying for British Citizenship have to tick all the boxes people from any other country outside the EU have to.
This includes having lived in the UK for at least five years before applying - usually on a work visa.
Susan Mulder, who signed the petition from Cape Town, said: "My life and the lives of my children are at risk daily.
"We love SA but are no longer welcome here in the country our ancestors built.
"We have no option but to ask for your help."
Another supporter of the petition is Marischka Davies, living in Liverpool. She said: "I am a naturalised British citizen yet my mom is stuck on her own in South Africa.
"She should be growing old with her daughter and granddaughter.
"She has been attacked with an AK47 held to her head and is alone and traumatised. She deserves to be free from living in fear."
While Matty de Bruyn, in Cape Town, simply said: "There is no hope for the white man in South Africa."
There are just over half a million South Africans living in Britain.
According to census date, more than 800,000 white South Africans moved overseas - mainly to Britain, Australia and New Zealand - between 1991 and 2001.

U.S. President George Bush today signed into law the American Servicemembers Protection Act of 2002, which is intended to intimidate countries that ratify the treaty for the International Criminal Court (ICC). The new law authorizes the use of military force to liberate any American or citizen of a U.S.-allied country being held by the court, which is located in The Hague. A former Australian army chief has warned Canberraagainst “blindly” following the United States in the American military adventures, a day after a long-awaited inquiry into Britain’s role in the 2003 US-led invasion of Iraq blamed the UK for rushing to war.
“We... need to be careful of blindly going along with our senior strategic partners,” Peter Leahy, who was the chief of the Australian army from 2002 to 2008,said in an apparent reference to the US.
“I think as we look at other issues that are afoot at the moment, there are some thoughts to be given there — what decisions are we making?” he said, speaking on Thursday.
The former army chief, who is now a professor at Canberra University’s National Security Institute, added that “Frankly, some of the decisions the United States, our senior partner in our strategic alliance, have [sic] made over the last 20 or 30 years have been a bit crook.”
The Chilcot Inquiry, established in 2009 to investigateBritain’s most controversial military engagement since the end of the Second World War, published its 6,000-page report in 12 volumes on Wednesday, slamming former British Prime Minister Tony Blair over support for former US President George W. Bush in the 2003 Iraq war.
At the time, Blair presented the case for war with “a certainty which was not justified”based on “flawed” intelligence about Iraq’s supposed weapons of mass destruction (WMD), which was not challenged as it should have been, the report concluded.
Blair’s government sent 120,000 members of the British armed forces and civilians to Iraq, proving its role as Bush’s chief military ally. A total of 179 British personnel werekilled in the war.
In 2003, Australia also sent 2,000 troops to support the US and British forces in the invasion of Iraq, whose legal basis, according to the Chilcot Inquiry, was “far from satisfactory.”
According to Leahy, a review of the Australian involvement in the Iraq war released in 2004 also showed that Canberra relied on flawed advice in joining its senior allies.
“Let’s have a discussion, not an inquiry, around our relationship with the United States, how we decide to go to war and very importantly how we decide every day when we are at war to stay at war,” Leahy said.
Meanwhile, Australian Foreign Minister Julie Bishop, who at the time of the Iraq invasion was part of then-Prime Minister John Howard’s conservative government, defended the decision made by the government to send troops to Iraq, saying it was “based on… the best information that we had at the time.”
“The government takes responsibility for all decisions that a government makes and we take responsibility for this one,” she further said, describing the decision as “a bipartisan position up to a point.”
Blair himself has defended the British decision to follow in the US’s footsteps into Iraq following the publication of the Chilcot report.

3 Ukrainian soldiers killed in fresh clashes in east

Renewed clashes between Ukrainian troops and pro-Russia forces in eastern Ukraine have left three soldiers dead. [comment: ie. Novorossiya, which is historically Russian, in a land that is HISTORICALLY SLAVIC & ANCESTRAL HOMELAND OF THE SLAVIC PEOPLE — not the possession of mongrel American capitalists & their accomplices. ]
Officials in Kiev said Tuesday that the three were killed as government forces suffered losses across various parts of the frontline separating areas under the control of pro-Russians in the east from the rest of the country.
Ukraine's military spokesman Andriy Lysenko said fierce clashes occurred in Donetsk, controlled by pro-Russians, while fighting raged in the southeastern government-held port city of Mariupol.
“We observe an escalation in these areas,” Lysenko said, adding that pro-Russians shelled some areas for several hours.
The pro-Russia forces rejected the statement as an accusation, saying Ukrainian troops shelled residential buildings in Donetsk. A news agency run by the pro-Russians said two civilians were injured in attacks by Ukrainian troops. [comment: the 'pro-Russians' are merely the eastern Ukraine ethnic-Russian pro-independence backing population that reject the CIA & IMF installed US Capitalist puppet regime.]
On September 20, 2014, the government in Kiev and the pro-Russians signed a ceasefire agreement in Minsk, Belarus, in a bid to halt the clashes in Ukraine’s eastern regions. The deal required all sides to pull heavy weaponry back from the front lines of the conflict.
On February 12 the next year, Germany, France, Russia and Ukraine agreed to another ceasefire deal in the same city under the name Minsk II. In addition to the withdrawal of heavy weapons from the front line, that agreement called for a ceasefire between Ukrainian forces and pro-Russians and constitutional reform to give eastern Ukraine more autonomy. Sporadic clashes have continued, however, with the two sides blaming each other for renewed hostilities. Kiev and its Western allies also accuse Russia of having a hand in the conflict. Moscow denies the allegation. More than 9,500 people have been killed since April 2014, when Kiev launched its formal military action against pro-Russians following a referendum in March that year in Crimea, where the ethnic Russian-speaking people voted for rejoining the Russian Federation.
Wealthy Australian businessman Dick Smith is preparing to stir a diplomatic hornets’ nest, in the hope of securing the freedom of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange.
Mr Smith has written to the United States and Swedish ambassadors in Canberra warning their relationship with Australia will suffer unless the four-year legal stand-off over Assange, holed up in Ecuador’s London embassy, is resolved.
The outspoken entrepreneur and aviator has visited Mr Assange three times, most recently last month, and revealed he had toyed with the idea of using a helicopter to airlift the Australian from the embassy.
He has made a YouTube video attacking the US and Sweden for their role in Mr Assange’s predicament and promised that is only the start of a new and determined campaign to “free” the embattled Australian, with a series of newspaper advertisements to follow.
“I’m not going to give up on this — it needs to be resolved one way or the other,” Mr Smith told The Australian. “Julian is an Australian and Australians should be treated fairly. This is only going to get worse and worse for them (Sweden and the US).”
Mr Assange moved into the Ecuadorean Embassy in London in June 2012, to avoid extradition to Sweden on sexual assault charges, which he denies and claims are politically driven. He was subsequently granted political asylum by Ecuador.[comment: there are no 'charges' of sexual assault. Sweden only has police allegations & has not even bothered to interview journalist, Julian Assange, in almost 6 years he has been detained pursuant to European Arrest Warrant (EAW) in Britain. ]
Mr Assange claimed that if he was extradited the Swedes would hand him over to the US, to be prosecuted over the WikiLeaks release of classified American documents.
Mr Smith believes the subsequent stand-off has taken a toll on Mr Assange and that the US needs to resolve it by declaring emphatically it has no intention of seeking his extradition, and Sweden should send police to interview him in London.
“This time I saw him, he looked very white — he hasn’t seen the sun for four years,” Mr Smith said. “This needs to be resolved.
“If I found some classified documents, I would give them to our government. But you need people like Assange, because governments don’t always do the right thing. We need whistleblowers.”
Mr Smith warned there would be “horrendous” consequences for the Australia-American relationship if Mr Assange was taken into custody by the US, and threatened to target Swedish companies such as Ikea and the Saab aerospace and defence group.
In his letter to US Ambassador John Berry, which he also sent to Swedish Ambassador Par Ahlberger, Mr Smith links Sweden’s role in the Assange stand-off to its desire to protect its arms trade, and likens that to the country’s “immoral” conduct during World War II.
“Sweden continued to supply iron ore to Germany throughout the Second World War, while young Australians and Americans were being killed trying to defend Europe,” Mr Smith’s letter says.
Neither ambassador responded to requests for comment yesterday. Mr Smith said he had a record of helping to secure the release of Australians detained in controversial circumstances, having campaigned for David Hicks, who was released from Guantánamo Bay in 2007, and asylum seeker Peter Qasim, who was freed from detention in 2005.
