Intrusion Attempt?

Not sure what happened here.  I'm not a techie. I can barely remember how to use the portable landline.  I don't have a fancy phone.  I hate texting.  I've no electronic gadgets of my own.

The average of daily views is a modest low hundreds per day, but a high hundreds of views happens now and then, which is sort of so-so.  It's not that rare or surprising.

However, an unprecedented spike of just under 5.5k on 3rd August 2016 has me wondering if this blog has been the target of a brute force attack or some intrusion attempt.

Notice discrepancy in the Blogger figures.  On the day itself, the day's indicator was just over 6k views (I'm pretty sure).  But the chart now reads just over 5.5k views for the day.  Don't know what's going on there, either.  Has Blogger been hacked?   Are the programmers making mistakes?  Are the programmers partying?  LOL

If there is any morally indignant SJW or anarchist deluded freak trying to attack my play-space, you're wasting your time.  I can be up and running again in minutes in several locations, because I have an archived copy of my Blogger templates and the blog content (which I'm getting compulsive about saving), and have templates for most things I compose.
Go away and brute force Erdogan or someone like that.  LOL


Just checked to see the day's entries.

Think the day's entries may have been the entries on the WikiLeaks DNC Leaks.

Maybe there's a lot of interest in that, and maybe it's not some weirdo with electronic gadgetry trying to intrude? LOL.

Went back into this post to make an adjustment.  Didn't like how wide my grey comment box was.  Go into the post HTML back end and what do I find?  Blogger auto inserting (ie. defacing) my work space with unwanted and pointless code.  Seeing that drives me mad.  I have an immediate urge to delete it.  Searching, picking out and deleting bits of code that shouldn't even be there is so frustrating.  Blogger, please stop this auto HTML code insertion function.



Another look, with pointer at the top of the spike indicator, shows a 6k plus figure:




Therefore the Blogger programmers probably aren't getting drunk and partying while programming ... LOL

I still don't know what this insane spike is about.
