European Commission full of crap: European Commission Denial of Reality Goes to the Very Top ...  EU insists:  sex attacks nothing to do with immigrants. ---------------------- ---------------------- COMMENT Not sure what to think about the Israel and exploitation of homosexual angle for political gain, mentioned in the video.   Israel isn't alone.  It's quite common.   Watch United Nations ambassadors, human rights NGOs and celebrities shilling for US interests, or politicians exploiting some 'victim' group or other to deprive another group of rights or to achieve some ulterior aim. There is nothing but exploitation of 'victim' groups and victim/advocate hyped issues in politics and in media. Even though conditions for homosexuals are non-existent in Palestine compared to Israel, that doesn't mean that Israel isn't politically exploiting the points of difference between Israel and Palestine, for PR persuasion & supporter-winning advantage. However, shutting down the Israeli presentation for the sake of defending those that  are hostile to the rights sought by the group (one is presumably advocating for) sounds absurd. It sounds like the focus somehow moved from homosexual issues to something else:  protesters would be contending that Israel's propaganda is 'racist'.  I don't see how politically exploiting a point where the Palestinians are at a clear disadvantage can be considered 'racist', although it is probably disadvantageous for the Palestinians. Liberalism with all its prohibitions is unappealing to me, so I'm not big on having the Israeli presentation shut down by protesters.  It's also hard for me to see how protesters would have a case to do so; but they don't need one.  Liberalism is big on shutting down whoever it chooses ... maybe it should be called fascism instead? On the other hand, it's kind of funny that the leftist liberal / Cultural Marxist Frankenstein that was championed is the same liberalism that now equates propaganda, politics, and a bit of PR as:   'racism'. ------- PS ... while Israel may be more liberal than its neighbours in terms of rights of homosexuals, Israel sounds positively totalitarian in other respects:  eg.  removal of children (on what sounds like flimsy grounds) and the 'no exit' orders that prevent departure from Israel (over 1.5 million Israelis and foreign nationals) -   (here).
